- Cob Drying Plant for drying Maize Crop from 30% moisture level to 12% moisture level.
- Maize Sheller for removing the seeds from Cob without loss of germination and vigor.

- NSPL is one of the first companies in India to have the following:
- Imported high quality seed cleaning, sorting and treating equipment.
- Cotton Gas Delinting facility.
- Cotton cleaning and sorting machines.
- Needle separators for Cotton.
- Form Fill Seal (FFS) machines for cotton and other crops.
- Automatic bagging and sealing machines for various crops.
- Rotostat machine for treating the seeds uniformly.

- In seed processing, the physical parameters are generally improved.
- The seed is conditioned to retain its inherent quality parameters (Germination, G.P.) and improve its physical parameters.
- Undersized and light seeds are removed.
- The moisture is brought to the right level.

- It is important to store the seeds properly so that there is no loss of their quality parameters.
- The conditioned godowns of NSPL ensure medium to long term storage of seeds without loss of viability and vigor.
- In the conditioned godown, Temperature of 15 C (+ or 1) and Relative Humidity 40% (+ or 2-3%) are maintained constantly by using air conditioning and dehumidification equipment supported by 100% power back up.
- NSPL has got 12000 MT capacity conditioned godown at Kothur (own) and 6000 MT capacity conditioned godown at Kompally (on exclusive hire).
- The capacity in addition to meeting NSPL's requirement is also offered to other seed companies on a lease basis.

- The seed packing is carried out considering the following aspects:
- Seed Rules (quantity of seed required for planting in an acre).
- Seed storability.
- Presentability in the market.
- Usage of cloth bags, poly pouches, HDPE oven socks, etc.
- The seed packing is governed by
- Labeling as per the Seed Rules.
- Packaging Act (Weights & Measures).
- Consumer Protection Act.
- Labelling of every seed packet is compulsory under the Seeds Act.
- Label on the seed packet contains the information about the quality parameters, the lot number and a unique label number.
